About
I am an anthropological archaeologist focusing on early state formation from the third to the second millennia B.C. in western Syria. My major theoretical interests are early social complexity and economy (political and informal); early urbanism; economic anthropology; material culture; craft production, circulation and consumption; technological change; and materials science in archaeology.
