About
I am currently working on the intersection between environmental/ecological concerns and Chinese religions, Buddhism in particular. I am interested in how western approaches to environmental ethics inform the worldviews underlying these traditions and to what degree Buddhist and Chinese religious environmentalism draw on non-western concepts. Particularly, I am interested in looking at the roles that language and rhetoric play in the formations of religious environmentalisms.
